Hi Bob, Thanks for the offer. I have a 2001 650 Savage. I would like to know where you found your book. All I can find is the early edition (86-89)? For now though, if you would be kind enough to scan and send me some info and pictures of the engine, I would be greatful! I have a "rattle" in the head if I rev my engine up too high or constant at 65mph in 5th gear. I'm thinking valve adjustment? Timming chain? I have 6,000mi on it and I don't think the first owner had this done. I have no idea what the valve spec's are or how to get to them. I bought the bike with 3,500mi on it. Any other information I should know or do to this bike would be helpful.
